Hi again,

First of all I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and thank you for all your support throughout 2011. This year has been a roll coaster from the get go with plenty of competitions and travel. The season started back in May and I have competed at least once every month since and spend over 16 weeks away from home.

The highlights of the year would have to be travelling to south China for the World University Games and then Tokyo for the Gymnastics World Championships. Unfortunately, at this competition the Australian Team didn't place high enough and therefore only one male Australian all around gymnast will be able to compete at the 2012 Olympic Games.

With the field narrowed down to two hopefuls, myself and one other are heading over to the UK on Boxing Day ahead of the Olympic Test Event on the 10th January. At the event, 40 all around gymnasts from 32 countries will be aiming to place above the yet to be determined cut off line, top 25-27, to keep their Olympic Dream alive. I am one of the 40 gymnasts, so fingers crossed.

Once again, thank you very much for your ongoing support. The past year has been great in terms of my gymnastics which I see is improving on a daily basis. I hope that 2012 will be an even bigger year as I aim to reach my ultimate goal of representing Australia at the Olympic Games.
