Lauren Staveley - Training, Filming and Travel

Lauren-Cam-and-Luke---Buller-June-12-04761I have been having an awesome time up at Mt Buller for the last few weeks. I started back training which has been awesome.  Mt Buller has had a sick rail park up and a jump on the Summit.

I have been doing a lot of filming, first was with the Sunrise program I even got to teach retired AFL football player Tyson Stenglein how to do a rail. Next I filmed with Southern Cross 10 and was featured on their Weeknights program, I have also done some photo shoots for Buller and some work with the greater valley radio station 96.9 Star FM. I am set to meet up with the ABC 3 filmers on Thursday so watch out for that one too!

I have also received the ESS performances mid-year scholarship. ESS performance is a dry-land training company who give out scholarships twice a year. The scholarship gives me access to their training facilities at both AMII Park and ESS high Performance training centre, sports medicine facilities, trainers that are available 5 days a week and free enrolment into an outdoor education certificate 2 course with GOTAFE. I cant wait to get started with these guys and use both the awesome gyms at both AMII Park and ESS HPTC.

I am heading to NZ to begin a 4 week long training stint based out of Wanaka, I hope to compete in a few contests while I am over there and then head back to Aus at the end of august for a few domestic contests as well.

I'll keep you all updated via my website www.laurenstaveley.com and fb fanpage
