Stacia Joseph - Lead up to the London Cup

Training

At the moment our training intensity has increased leading up to the London Cup. Our club season has started and we are all required to play for our clubs when available on the weekends. I play for YMCC – I’m really enjoying it!!

Recovery

We always do recovery after each session – ice baths or sometimes I go down to the beach and put my legs in the water. I find the beach a bit of a mental refresher as well!!

Injuries

At the moment I'm injury free. However I still do a lot of prehab exercises to keep my ostitis pubis at bay – I attend 2 Pilates sessions each week which have really helped keep me on the pitch!

Mental Work

Definitely! It’s important to continually re assess your goals and then set new ones.

Funny Situations

There are always funny things happening at trainings. Flanno (Anna Flanagan) is always providing some amusement with her quirky humour!! Very funny individual!!
