Love the sport, wish to represent Australia until 2018 Commonwealth Games

Yes - developed my personal character that has helped me in all aspects of life

Cricket, Australian Rules, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Tennis

Snatch 137.5kg, Clean and Jerk 180kg
Training Philosophy?
Always train with an objective in mind. Short, medium and long term goals are a must.
Favourite Foods/Type of diet you follow?
Chicken, Steak, Fish, Salads, Yoghurt, Fruit
Favourite Bodypart to Train plus training spilt(training schedule + fav session)
Olympic Weightlifting trains most body parts simultaneously. Train usually 5-8 times a week.
Describe a typical training day
Wake up. Breakfast. Stretch. Train. Stretch. Morning Tea. Lunch. Stretch. Afternoon Tea. Protein Shake. Stretch. Train. Protein Shake. Stretch. Dinner. Bed.
Worst injury you have suffered
Gradual shoulder dislocation (2007-2011) required shoulder reconstruction in 2011.
What is your favourite movie?
JFK
What one lesson did you take from your parents?
There is always more than one point of view and no one persons view is 100% right
How do you deal with temptation?
I treat myself occasionally to deal with cravings, except when close to competition.
What is your favourite music/band/song?
Usually listen to Triple J. Not a huge music fan.
What is your biggest fear?
Not achieving my goals that I set out for myself.
Do you believe "never giving up" is the difference between making it and not making it in any sport?
No. You must have a combination of natural ability, mental capacity and the ability to overcome adversity.
Have you ever failed at anything? If yes how did you overcome this?
Yes. I set myself goals all the time. If I fail. I assess what went wrong and change accordingly to succeed next time.
What inspired you to succeed?
Always have had the feeling I will succeed. A natural confidence in my own abilities.
What did you want to be as a kid growing up?
Airline Pilot. Still do.

Yukio Peter from Nauru
Who would you like to compete against?
Anyone, I love competition.
