Went to the beach regularly as a kid and people suggested my family join nippers.

Started at such a young age and just enjoyed the beach

My wife Jess, My parents Brad and Adelaide and brother Chad and sister Carly and friends.
Great experiences that have happened in your life?
Getting married in Santorini Greece was pretty special

Surfing

Its not what you got its how you use it.

Grew up in Bensville spending alot of time at MacMasters beach

All of the older blokes at the beach

I have experienced success over a number of years
What is one thing you would share with the children wanting to follow in your footsteps?
Do what you enjoy doing and then your always going to be a winner
How has being involved/playing your sport changed your life?
It is a massive part of my life and has been for so long.

My wife Jess
Who has been your best coach?
Tony Smith was an unbelievable swimming coach

Favourite Foods/Diet you follow?
Favorite food would be ice cream and my diet is pretty loose
Your typical training split and favourite thing to train?
Favourite training session is board training when there are waves and i train 2-3 times a day 6 days a week...
Worst injury you have suffered?
Some terrible shoulder injuries...
What is the ultimate prize in your sport?
Winning Nutrigrain series, Aussies and Coolangatta gold
What do you find to be the toughest aspect of your sport?
Training in the elements... wind, rain, sun, cold etc
What is your favourite movie?
Hall pass is pretty funny
What one lesson did you take from your parents?
To be a hard worker
How do you deal with temptation?
It depends what the temptation is

Tripple JJJ
What is your biggest fear?
Snakes
Do you believe "never giving up" is the difference between making it and not making it in any sport?
Yes
Have you ever failed at anything? If yes how did you overcome this?
I failed a few University courses However this was from lack of effort and attendance so next time around i turned up more and applied slightly more effort.
What inspired you to succeed?
The feeling of winning and keeping fit is great
What did you want to be as a kid growing up?
Teacher its a really rewarding occupation
Your future goals in your sports, and goals when you finish your sport?
Goals for future are podium in Nutrigrain, Aussies and Coolangatta gold.
What is your worst fear?
being unsuccessful at life

Jess, Hamish, Glassy, Amanda and myself.
What is one item you cannot live without?
Iphone
