Because i love it and have always loved playing hockey.

Scoring my first International goal for Australia and Winning my debut Tournament

Mum Dad and Sister and Girlfriend

Having my parents watching my first International game!!

Lance Armstrong and Jamie Dwyer
Who has been your most influential coach?
Greg Browning gave me my first QLD mens start and now Ric Charlesworth
How has playing your sport changed your life?
i have moved from Brisbane QLD to Perth WA leaving my Family and close friends behind was tough
What is the greatest advice you can pass onto young players?
No matter what HAVE FUN and ENJOY it!!!!
Were you one of the best players growing up?
Not the best but was in all qld junior teams
Training Background(sports, etc)?
During peak we train 6 days a week around 25 hours a week
Favourite Foods/Type of diet you follow?
spaghetti bolognese and curried sausages
Favourite Bodypart to Train plus training spilt(training schedule + fav session)
Running (legs). Monday Afternoon session cause we have had Sunday off and cant wait to get back into it.
Describe a typical day?
Depending on what day normally wake up around 7 go to work at 8.30 go to training at 4-7pm then home dinner watch tv and bed or get up at 5 train 5.30-8 then go to work until 4 come home dinner watch tv and bed and have meetings 2 nights a week sometimes more
Worst injury you have suffered?
Tore my groin after 2009 junior world cup 6 months out of hockey
Sporting/Club History and positions played?
Eastern Suburbs Hockey Club (TIGERS) Brisbane QLD from 5 years old until 19... then this year Victoria park Panthers Perth WA- Striker
Greatest sporting moment you have had thus far? Achievement to this point?
Playing for the Australian Hockey team (Kookaburras)
Who has been your greatest rival on the field?
Through juniors Probably Matthew Wills who plays for NSW we are the same age and have played against each other all through juniors. he now lives in Perth too and we now train together.
What is your favourite movie?
Shawshank Redemption or Remember the Titans
What one lesson did you take from your parents?
No matter what you choose in life we will support you no matter what!!

David Guetta- LMFAO- Wheres your head at Basement Jaxx
Do you believe "never giving up" is the difference between making it and not making it in any sport?
I think once you are at the top of your sport you should never think about giving up your there cause you want to be there.
Have you ever failed at anything? If yes how did you overcome this?
Wasn't the greatest student at school but tried my hardest and thankfully passed!!
What inspired you to succeed?
To play for Australia
What did you want to be as a kid growing up?
A Police Officer
Typical game day routine?
Breakfast Team Meeting Free Time 4 Hours before game eat something else. Bus to ground listening to Music warm Up Play Warm Down De Brief
What is the ultimate prize for you in your sport and why?
The Olympic Games is the biggest event Hockey has.
Your Future Goals in your sport , what are goals after you have finished playing?
Keep Playing for Australia. Hopefully get into coaching and helping young kids cause that's where i started playing the sport i love
What's the one thing about you few people know?
I worked at a SeaFood Market for 2 Years after school in Brisbane (Raptis... great seafood)
What one item can you not live without?
My Iphone or Mac Book
People you would like to thank?
Definitely my MUM and DAD and sister they have been there for me FOREVER and always will be and my great Girlfriend who moved her life over with me to Perth so i could live out my dream and my SPONSOR Gryphon Hockey who supply me with all my gear i need to play with.
