What are the day to day activities involved in your profession/business?
Personal training clients, making raw food, writting recipes, writting plan, organizing events and promotions, teaching classes, writting blogs and emails.
Why did you take on this profession/business?
I have always been passionate about training, health and fitness. I wanted to make my lifestyle my living. I am so happy I can share my passion with the world.
What are the highlights of your profession/business?
Helping others improve health, physically and mentally is so rewarding. I have many clients email me with such positive feedback A healthy body is a healthy mind. I love that I inspire my fans to make healthy choices.
What is your favourite movie?
To be honest I do not watch tv or movies aften, I would rather train or cook!
What one lesson did you take from your parents?
They are right alot of the time!
How do you deal with temptation?
Walk away and reflect then I can decide if its worth it or not.
What is your favourite music/band/song?
Anything good to train too!
What is your biggest fear?
In the past i have always had fears, I try be "fearless" these days and live in the moment! We should not live in fear, thinking negative is not my motto.
Do you believe "never giving up" is the difference between making it and not making it in any sport?
Yes i do, providing you want to achieve the goal work hard, never give up and you will get the result! The people who get the top results are the ones that work hard and do not take no for an answer!
Have you ever failed at anything? If yes how did you overcome this?
I would not see it as a "fail" more as a lesson, if I didn't achieve what I wanted I would work out how to do it better next time.
What inspired you to succeed?
My past, I wanted to be stronger mentally and physically then ever before to find happiness.
What did you want to be as a kid growing up?
A teacher, I guess I am :), not in the field I thought tho.
Any low lights?
I love whatI do, with all jobs will be some negatives, long hours, lots of dishes too! But it is all worth it, would not want to live any other way, i am blessed!
What motivates you to continue in your profession/business?
So many people tell me I inspire them, from day to day they think of me when making choices in their health and fitness. My fans are my biggest motivation, I love helping others! I have so much more I want to bring to the table.
What advice would you give to someone looking to take on your profession/business?
Have a passion, work hard, be honest, people appreciate that the most.
What advice what you give clients seeking a specialist of your profession in their area?
Make sure you find a health advisor who is able to give you results that can be maintained long-term, not just short-term. Find a health professional that will be able to help you train and eat to "feel great" and "look great", not just a short term fix that will give quick results.
A simple piece of advice you can give to the general public?
Live everyday not just survive, appreciate the small things not what you do not have, concentrate on your positives and try improve your weakness. Learn to love and forgive :)
